The Swartland is one of the last areas of the world where more than 50 year old vintage dryland bush vines still can be found. The terrain has a wide variety of grapes with wonderful vintage vines such as Pinotage, Shiraz, Merlot, Mourvedre, Viognier, Grenache , Cabernet Sauvignon, Rubi Cabernet ,Sauvignon Blanc or Chenin Blanc to name just a few. At BFT Vineyards these are all hand-grown, pruned, harvested, natural irrigated and cared for.
